Today people are increasingly becoming more aware of what food they put in their mouths with the uptake in requests for gluten-free food, restauranters and caterers are adding more options to their menus to cater for increased requests.

In a recent article in The Australian, celebrity claims that assist with weight loss, increased energy and improved health has meant that the sale of gluten-free foods in Australia and the US have increased dramatically. There is no doubt that there are specific medical conditions that recommend eating gluten-free products, however, more and more people are considering this option as well.
