All the reviews I had read were spot on. Andrew’s communication was faultless and he delivered everything he promised. Our son’s engagement party was such a memorable night. Andrew showed up on time and incredibly organised. I don’t know where to start with the food. We selected Room 5, sent off our menu choices to Andrew and he contacted us to suggest changing two items to more filling options. That hadn’t crossed my mind so we were very grateful for his input. Our favourites were the meatballs (amazing!), the pork belly, pulled pork sliders with the blue cheese sauce, fish and chips (the caper aioli was so tasty) and the beef and red wine pies. Stefanie was a great waitress; she made her way around our guests so well. They served up the cake like the reviews said, and the kitchen was left spotless. Having Standing Room Only gave us the opportunity to enjoy the night with our family and friends. They are still talking about the food!

Standing Room Only catered for my farm wedding in Dayboro on the 29th of September. We had raving reviews about the food & the staff from our 65 guests.
Upon arrival, the staff immediately sought out those with dietary requirements & ensured they were fed the correct foods throughout the night. The chef prepared the same foods as everyone else but changed them to suit lactose & gluten intolerant guests - they felt included and well looked after.
The staff set aside food for my husband and I to eat after our wedding photos & brought it to our designated location at a time that suited us.
They also cut & served our cake which was an additional bonus.
They left my mums kitchen sparkling clean & were friendly and helpful.
The highlights were the slow cooked chicken tacos, mushroom truffle pizza, pork sliders & curry pies (we had room 4) but my mother-in-law who sampled everything twice said there wasn’t a bad one! Thanks Andrew & Team!
I was drawn to Standing Room Only because of the reviews it had from previous clients and so glad I went with them.
Andrew was quick to respond to my enquiry and explained how it all worked. I booked a date in for my 50th. I am glad that Andrew recommended having 2 chefs and 2 waitresses as there was no wait for the food at all, it just kept coming out. I went with the room 3 option and my only concern was whether there would be enough food. Andrew reassured me that there would and for me not to worry about cheese platters or nibbles as it would spoil peoples appetite. So I went with his suggestion. I am also glad that I went with having 2 waitresses. One of the waitresses arrive early, and she put on her apron, and started washing up a few empty lunch dishes that I did not get the chance to do before they arrived. The food was so well presented and by having 2 experienced people bring out the platters made it all look so lovely. The waitresses were polite, efficient and helpful throughout the night. They even offered to cut the cake (that we supplied) and presented it on a white platter and took it around – that was a lovely extra gesture. I was specific with what time the speeches should be, and they were right on to it, breaking the food service and taking their own break at this time. I loved how the chefs were dressed up, and how they cooked everything in the background. We had so many compliments about the food which was great. At the end of the night the chef grabbed the Dyson, and off he went vacuuming my kitchen!! Would I use again – yes. Would I recommend – yes. THNAK YOU ANDREW.
